The POLY Outstanding General Topics Presentation Award was established to recognize excellent presentations from graduate students during ACS National Meetings. A great deal of work goes into preparing high-quality presentations. POLY wishes to acknowledge and reward our outstanding students. One winner is selected during each POLY General Topics, half-day day session.

Award: For the Fall and Spring meetings in 2025, each winner will receive a certificate, an award of $100, and recognition in POLY media and newsletter. The award shall be granted to an individual without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, disability, or sexual orientation.

Eligibility: General Paper presenters must be current students presenting in the POLY General Papers session during the Spring or Fall ACS National Meeting. Preference will be given to members of the ACS Division of Polymer Chemistry (POLY).

Judging: This award is judged on-site during the Spring and Fall ACS Meetings. Judges for this award are selected by the current POLY Programming Team. Presentations are judged based on scientific content, the oral presentation, and the visual aids.
